However please Keep in Mind – that a lot of these Principles may be broken in Arrests:
As you have likely heard, Canada’s bail system is in crisis. In 2014, CCLA reported that 54.5% of all people in Canada’s provincial and territorial jails were legally innocent, awaiting the determination of their bail or the resolution of their charges rather than serving a sentence after a conviction. By 2021/22, that proportion had risen to 70%. In Ontario jails, it is 79%. (CCLA)
Conditions in pre-trial custody are dangerous and inhumane. There are issues with overcrowding, and recreation, treatment and rehabilitation programs are limited or non-existent. Prisoners are often subjected to lockdowns due to staff shortages. During lockdowns, prisoners are confined to their cells for the entire day, with little or no access to necessities like fresh air, exercise, clean clothes and towels, showers, and telephone calls to loved ones. These desperate conditions often force innocent people to plead guilty just so they can get out.
This issue comes with real human costs—for instance, the case of Lesley Ann Balfour, a 25-year-old mother of four. After spending 56 days in jail, the Crown withdrew all charges against her. Hers is the human story of Canada’s broken bail system.

We urgently need to address this unfair system. Unfortunately, politicians and governments increasingly decry our bail system as “too lenient.” This is not the case. Instead, we are facing an issue of overdetention. CCLA is fighting back; we are advocating for the importance of a fair and functioning bail system that protects both Charter rights and community safety because we know the importance of a fair bail system.
Bail reform is not a popular political issue, but CCLA advocates for what is right, not what is popular. We know we can have a system that protects both Charter rights and community safety. One solution that will help to move us in the right direction is making “bail bed” programs more widely available and accessible, and this is something that CCLA is advocating for. CCLA will continue to advocate for a fairer bail system, but we need your help. CCLA is independent. We can only advocate for issues like this with your support. That’s why we are asking you to donate today if you can. Thank you!
Mathew 23: New International Version Par ▾ A Warning Against Hypocrisy1Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.5“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries a wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.8“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. 11The greatest among you will be your servant. 12For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as Praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.
It seems that the hadith referred to in the question is the report narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh (2896) from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Iraq will withhold its dirhams and qafeez (a measurement of grain), Syria will withhold its mudds and dinars, and Egypt will withhold its irdabb and dinars, and you will return to where you started, you will return to where you started, you will return to where you started.” The flesh and blood of Abu Hurayrah bear witness to that.
Al-Bukhaari (3180) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: How will you be when you are not able to collect any dinars or dirhams? It was said to him: On what basis do you say that will happen, O Abu Hurayrah? He said: By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurayrah, (I learned that) from the words of the most truthful one (i.e., the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)). They said: What did he say? He said: “The covenant granted by Allah and His Messenger (to the dhimmis) will be transgressed, so Allah will make the hearts of ahl adh-dhimmah so bold that they will withhold the jizyah they are supposed to pay.”ying: Iraq would withhold its dirhams and qafiz; Syria would withhold its mudd and dinar and Egypt would withhold its irdab and dinar and you would recoil to that position from where you started and you would recoil to that position from where you started and you would recoil to that position from where you started, the bones and the flesh of Abu Huraira would bear testimony to it.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The Euphrates would soon uncover a mountain of gold but he who is present there should not take anything from that.
‘Abdullah b. Harith b. Naufal reported: I was standing along with Ubayy b. Ka,b and he said: The opinions of the people differ in regard to the achievement of worldly ends. I said: Yes, of course. Thereupon he said: I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The Euphrates would soon uncover a mountain of gold and when the people would bear of it they would flock towards it but the people who would possess that (treasure) (would say): If we allow these persons to take out of it they would take away the whole of it. So they would fight and ninety-nine out of one hundred would be killed. Abu Kamil in his narration said: I and Abu Ka’b stood under the shade of the battlement of Hassan. ) – river Euphrates in Iraq
NESKANTAGA — The resistance to the Ring of Fire is now making camp.
Members of Neskantaga and Attawapiskat First Nations have begun clearing brush where proposed highways would cross the Attawapiskat River, headed north toward the mineral deposit that’s suspected to hold more than $60-billion worth of critical minerals.
The planned bridge sites are 60 and 70 kilometres east of Neskantaga and another 100 kilometres southwest from the Eagle’s Nest mine site, where developers expect to begin production first.

Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) int he Bible; with Bible Quotes / Proofs from the Old and new Testament; n the Song of Solomon, chapter 5 verse 16, we read in Hebrew: “Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem.” It means “His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.”
Deutronomy 6 – MonotheIsm In Old Testament – same Principle In lslam
Version 1.0.0
4Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. a5Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you getup. 8Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. (The Monotheism
1“All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. 2They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them. I did not tell you this from the beginning because I was with you, 5but now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ 6Rather, you are filled with grief because I have said these things. 7But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate (teacher, Oarakletos in Greek Language Translation)will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
John 16 – NIV (New International Version) –12“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”
Prophet Muhammad came to declare the Message – as part of the Last Revelation sent to Mankind. What was the Message? There is only one God Worthy of Worship. The Qur’an states that those who believe inand follow the prophet will prosper (Surah 7:157).

Jesus came to complete, or fulfill, the law. He came to call sinners to repentance. He came to speak the truth of God. Jesus came to save the lost and to do God’swill.
A Warning Against Hypocrisy Jesus warns many Scholars are Hypocrites: Mathew 23:1 1Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. Many Scholars Changed the Word of God/ Torah and Gospel: Quran Kareem – surah Baqarah versew 79-80- Hypocrisy of Scholars So woe1 to those who distort the Scripture with their own hands then say, “This is from Allah”—seeking a fleeting gain! So woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they have earned. ˹Some of˺ the Jews claim, “The Fire will not touch us except for a number of days.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Have you taken a pledge from Allah—for Allah never breaks His word—or are you ˹just˺ saying about Allah what you do not know?”
Was the firstbornson of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God’s covenant and promise?A few verses from the Bible may help light on this question: Prophet Muhammad is a Descendant of Abraham and his son Ishmael (through Hagar) – and the other Prophets who came to be known as Jews came from Abraham and his other wife Sarah (such as David, Solomon, Moses, Zakarriayh, John the Baptist, Jesus)
Genesis 12:2-3 speaks ofGod’s promisetoAbraham and hisdescendants beforeanychildwas bornto him.
2 And l Will make ofyoU a great natIon, and l Will bless you and make yoor name great, so that you will be a blessIng. 3 l WIll bless those Who bless yoU, and hIm Who dIshonors yoU l WIll curse, and In yoo all the famIlIes of the earth shall be blessed.”[a]
Genesis 17:4 reiterates God’s promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birthof Isaac.
InGenesis,Ch. 21, Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael wasalsospecifically blessedand promised byGodto becomea“greatnation” inGenesis 21:13,18.
1 7Genesis17:4-
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “ I am God Almighty[a]; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. 2 Then I will make my covenant,Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, “ As for me, this is my covenant withwill bethe father of many nations.5 No longer will you be called Abram[b];your name will be Abraham, (c] for I have made you a father of many nations. 6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. 7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. 8 The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants afteryou; and I will be their God. ”
Let us discuss Isaiah Chapter 42, Verses 9-12. God declares through Prophet Isaiah;
In chapter 42, Isaiah begins with a prophecy for the coming of Prophet Jesus (a.s.). Now after verse number nine we see that God declares through Isaiah, the “new things” that are to “spring forth” in the Land of Kedar, the land of Kedar is Arabia. So obviously this prophecy speaks about Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w.a.).
Let us discuss Isaiah Chapter 42, Verses 9-12. God declares through Prophet Isaiah;
“Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. `Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth’, Ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare His praise in the inlands.”1
Before we analyze the prophecy let us see where the land of Kedar is;
Ezekial chapter 27 verse 21 says:
‘Arabia, and including all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats; in these were they thy merchants’.
The personality called Kedar in the Bible is that of the grandson of Prophet Abraham (a.s.), through his son Ishmael which is mentioned in the book of Genesis 25:13. Kedar’s descendants had settled in Paran (Sino-Arabian dessert). In the Rabbinic literature Arabia is called the “Land of Kedar”. Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w.a.) was a descendant of Kedar. God did reveal in the Land of Kedar, through Prophet Muhammed – a direct descendant of Kedar, a ‘New Song’ i.e: The Qur’an (Koran). (The Recitation)
