SUN WILL RISE FROM THE WEST

SUN PROSTRATES UNDER ALLAH(SWA) ARSH/ THRONE –

Hadith; Narrated Abu Dhar: The Prophet (ﷺ) asked me at sunset, “Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?” I replied, “Allah and His Apostle know better.” He said, “It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: “And the sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). that is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All- Knowing.” (36.38) – Sahih al-Bukhari 3199

Hadith on Signs: FAITH OF NO BENEFIT AFTER SEEING 3 SIGNS: Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When three signs appear, no soul will benefit from its faith if it did not already believe or earn good by its faith: the rising of the sun from the west, the False Messiah (Dajjal/ AntiChrist), and the beast from the earth.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 158

SUN WILL BE LOWERED IN JUDGEMENT DAY- 1 MILE: Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The sun will be lowered on the Day of Resurrection to the distance of a mile and its heat will be increased by as much. It will boil skulls just like the boiling of pots. They will sweat by the measure of their sins. Among them are those to whom it will reach their ankles, among them are those to whom it will reach their shins, among them are those to whom it will reach their midsections, and among them are those who are subsumed in sweat.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 22186 #Sun; #Islam; #Prostrates under the Arsh; #Hadith; #Judgement Day;

The 7 Conditions of Shahadah – Islam

Concerning the conditions for those who utter the words of the shahada, Shaykh Haafiz al-Hukmi (may Allah have mercy on him) wrote in his poem ‘Sullam al-Wusool’:

“Knowledge, certainty, submission, and following.

So listen to what I say.

Truthfulness, sincerity, and love.

May Allaah help you to do that which He loves.”

5. TRUTHFULNESS (SIDQ) is what separates the true believer from the hypocrite. When you say it from your lips it must be the truth from your heart, and not because it may be what is acceptable or for other ulterior motives.

1. KNOWLEDGE (ILM) of what the words of the shahada mean. For example, if someone just mimics it in Arabic but they don’t know what it means, it does not make them a Muslim. It’s important for the one who says it to understand that there is no god but Allah.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “He who died knowing that there is no God but Allah will enter Paradise.” – Sahih Muslim

2. CERTAINTY (YAQIN) without a doubt in your heart that to worship the one true God and not associate any partners or intermediaries is the best way of life, rejecting all others.

No one meets Allah with the testimony that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and I am the Messenger of Allah, and he has no doubt about that statement, except that he will enter Paradise” – Prophet Muhmmad (peace be upon him) Sahih Muslim

3. ACCEPTANCE (QABUL) of Allah’s Lordship based on knowledge. There should be no doubt about Allah, His Messenger or His Message, The Noble Qur’an. This requires complete and absolute abandonment of any other you worship besides Allah.
Allah says, “So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.” (Al-Quran 2:85)
4. SUBMISSION (INQIYAD) to the laws of Islam, and striving to implement them in your daily life. Try to change bad practices and look for opportunities to do good deeds. These are all part of loving, fearing, and worshipping Allah, as true love is expressed in obedience to His commands.

Who is better in religion than he who surrenders his purpose to Allah while doing good.” (Al-Quran 4:125)

5. TRUTHFULNESS (SIDQ) is what separates the true believer from the hypocrite. When you say it from your lips it must be the truth from your heart, and not because it may be what is acceptable or for other ulterior motives.

And of mankind are some who say, ‘We believe in Allah and the Last Day,’ when they believe not. They think to beguile Allah and those who believe, and they beguile none save themselves, but they perceive not. In their hearts is a disease, and Allah increases their disease. A painful doom is theirs because they lie.” (Al-Quran 28:10)

6. SINCERITY (IKHLAS) is between you and Allah. The shahada should not be said to please parents, to get married, or to gain favor. We should all seek to die with a high level of sincerity of worship, so develop your Islam until you become sincere for Allah alone.

Worship Allah, making religion pure for him.” (Al-Quran 98:5)

7. LOVE for ALLAH (MAHABBAH) should guide you into a stronger belief of “La ilaha illallaah” (The is no god worthy of worship but Allah). The best way to increase in love for Allah is to know Him through His names and attributes and reading and understanding His message to use in the Qur’an.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Whoever has three characteristics has tasted the sweetness of faith. [The first of these] is that he loves Allah and His Messenger more than he loves anyone else … ” [Agreed upon].

Guarding Monotheism – Prophet Muhammad’s (saaw) Humility

Kitab at Tawheed – Book of Monotheism Ch# 66
The Prophet’s safeguarding of Tauhid (Monotheism)
and his closing of the paths to Shirk (Polytheism)

Narrated from Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir (May Allah be pleased with him) who said:
I went with a delegation of Banu ‘Aamir to Allah’s Messenger (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) and we (the delegation) said, “You are our lord/ Master (Sayyid).” To this he replied, “The Lord is Allah, the Blessed and Exalted.” Then we said, “You are one of us most endowed with excellence and superiority.” To this, the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) replied, “Say what you have to say, or part of what you have to say, and do not let the Satan get you carried away.”
[Abu Dawud reported this Hadith with valid Isnad]

It is narrated from Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) :
Some people said, “O Messenger of Allah, O the best amongst us and son of the best of us, you are our master and also the son of our master.” So he (the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him))said, “O people, say what you have to say; do not allow the Satan to fascinate you. I am Muhammad, the slave of Allah and His Messenger. I do not like you to
raise me above my status to which I have been raised by Allah, Most Noble and Majestic is He.”
[Reported by An-Nasa’i with valid Sanad]

They have Not Made a Just Estimate of Allah(swa)

CHAPTER No: 67 Kitab at Tawheed / Book of Monotheism

  • “They made Not a Just estimate of Allah…”

Allah the Almighty said: “They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection, the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!” (39:67)

Abdullah bin Mas’ud (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
A (Jewish) rabbi came to Allah’s Messenger (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) and he said, “O Muhammad! We learn that Allah will put all the heavens on one finger, and the earths on one finger, and the trees on one finger, and the water and the dust on one finger, and all the other created beings on one finger. Then He will say, ‘I am the King”‘. Thereupon the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) smiled so that his premolar teeth became visible, and that was the confirmation of the rabbi. Then Allah’s Messenger (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) recited: “They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the Earth will be grasped by His
Hand.” (39:67)

In Muslim, from Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) in a Marfu’ Hadith, it is narrated:
“Allah will roll all the heavens up on the Day of Resurrection and take them in His Right Hand and then He will say, ‘I am the King; where are the Tyrants and where are the arrogant ones (today)?’ He would then roll up the seven earths and take them in His Left Hand and say, ‘I am the King, where are the tyrants and where are the arrogant ones (today)?’ “
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) that-he said: “The seven heavens and seven earths will be as small in Allah’s Hand as a seed of mustard in one of your hands.”

“The Kursi (Allah’s Footstool) compared to the Throne (Arsh) is nothing but like a ring of iron thrown in a vast field.”
It is reported that Ibn Mas’ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The distance between first and second heaven is that of 500 years, and between each of the seven heavens is also 500 years, and the distance between seventh heaven to the Kursi (Allah’s Footstool) is also 500 years, and the distance between the Kursi and the water is again 500 years. The Throne (Arsh) is above the water and Allah the Almighty is above the Throne. And nothing is hidden to Allah of your deeds.”

Olive Oil in Quran and Hadith

Olives in the Quran:

Allah mentions olives in a number of verses in the Quran. They are as follows: “Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things..” [Surah al-Noor 24:35]

“And He it is who causes gardens to grow, [both] trellised and untrellised, and palm trees and crops of different [kinds of] food and olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Eat of [each of] its fruit when it yields and give its due [zakah] on the day of its harvest. And be not excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess. [Surah al-Anaam, 6:141]

OLIVES in Hadith:

It is recorded that Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Every kind of olive oil is for you, and anoint yourself with it” Rasulullah (SAW) used to recommend olives and saffron in cases of pleurisy, and he used to say that olives are the medicine of the poor. In another tradition Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Eat olive oil and anoint yourself with it” (Al-Tirmidhi)

Saied al-Ansari narrates that Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Eat the olive oil and massage it over your bodies since it is a blessed tree.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

Hazrat Alqama Bin Amir (R.A) narrates that Prophet (Sallallaho Alayhi Wasallam) said, “There is olive oil for you, eat it, massage over your body, since it is effective in Heamorrhoids (Piles).

Hazrat Aqba Bin Amir (R.A) narrates that the Prophet (Sallallaho Alayhi Wasallam) stated, “You have the olive oil from this Holy (mubarak) tree, treat yourself with this, since it cures the Anal fissure (Basoor).

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that Rasulullah (SAW) stated: “Eat the olive oil and apply it (locally), since there is cure for seventy diseases in it, one of them is Leprosy.”

Khalid Bin Sa’d narrate: “I came to Medina with Ghalib Bin Al Jabr. Ghalib became ill during the journey. Ibn Abi Atîq came to see him and told a narration from Aisha that the Prophet told about the cure in Kalonji. We crushed a few seeds of Kalonji and mixed it with olive oil and dropped in both nostrils, after which Ghalib became healthy.” (Bukhari)

The Description of Nabi/ prophet Muhammad(saw)

Hadith:

On the authority of Umm Ma‘bad ‘Atikah bint Khalid al-Khuza‘iyyah (ra) who said:

’I saw a man of visible radiance and purity, beautiful appearance, bright faced, with neither protruding ribs nor a small head, handsome and fair. His eyes were deep black and large, and his eyelashes were lush. His voice was mellow and soft. The whiteness of his eyes was bright and his pupils were very black. His eyebrows were beautifully arched and connected. His neck was long, his beard densely full. When he was silent, he appeared dignified. When he spoke, he was eminent and crowned with magnificence. His speech was sweet, his words precise, neither too little nor too much. Like a string of pearls flowing down gradually.

He was the most striking and beautiful of people when seen from afar and the fairest of them when seen up close. He was medium height, neither unagreeably tall nor scornfully short; a branch between two branches. Among the three he was the most radiant in appearance, the finest of them in stature. He was surrounded by companions. When he spoke, they listened attentively. When he gave orders, they hastened to fulfil them. Honoured, served and surrounded by followers. He neither frowned, nor criticized’.
