Plural Marriages in the Bible and Quran Kareem Why do Christians have a Problem with Multiple Marriage? Probably cause most Christians never read the Bible – Christianity, Bible, Islam – Comparisons;
Of course currently there is no Original Torah (of Moses), Psalms of David (Zabur) or Injeel (Gospel) of Jesus – only Quran Kareem is preserved in the Original Revelation /Arabic;
*Old Testament: – Prophet Solomon: 1 Kings 11:3 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV) He had 700 wives, who were princesses, and 300 concubines. And his wives turned away his heart.
*Prophet David: 1 Samuel 18:20 (NIV) Now Saul’s daughter Michal was in love with David, and when they told Saul about it, he was pleased. Michal was David’s first wife and King Saul’s daughter. David paid double the requested dowry when he presented Saul with 200 Philistine foreskins for her hand in marriage. Although David’s primary motive for marrying Michal seemed to be for political reasons, the Bible tells us Michal loved David. In fact, Michal’s love for David is the only reference in the entire Bible that mentions a specific woman’s love for a man (1 Samuel 18:20).
2 Samuel 5:13-16 – Prophet David: 13 After he left Hebron, David took more concubines and wives in Jerusalem, and more sons and daughters were born to him. 14 These are the names of the children born to him there: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, 15 Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia, 16 Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet.
*Surah An Nisa 4:3 – Quran Kareem; If you fear you might fail to give orphan women their ˹due˺ rights ˹if you were to marry them˺, then marry other women of your choice—two, three, or four. But if you are afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then ˹content yourselves with˺ one 1 or those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession.

You surely cannot guide whoever you love ˹O Prophet˺, but it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills, and He knows best who are ˹fit to be˺ guided. – surah Al Qasas 28:56;
It is not ˹proper˺ for the Prophet and the believers to seek forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were close relatives, after it has become clear to the believers that they are bound for the Hellfire. – surah Taubah 9:113;

Chapter: Evidence that the Islam of one who becomes Muslim on his deathbed is valid, so long as the death those have not begun; Abrogation of permission to supplicate for forgiveness for the idolators; Evidence that one who dies an idolator is one of the people of hell and no intervention can save him from that
It is reported by Sa’id b. Musayyib who narrated it on the authority of his father (Musayyib b. Hazm) that when Abu Talib was about to die, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to him and found with him Abu Jahl (‘Amr b. Hisham) and ‘Abdullah b. Abi Umayya ibn al-Mughirah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: My uncle, you just make a profession that there is no god but Allah, and I will bear testimony before Allah (of your being a believer), Abu Jahl and ‘Abdullah b. Abi Umayya addressing him said: Abu Talib, would you abandon the religion of ‘Abdul-Muttalib? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) constantly requested him (to accept his offer), and (on the other hand) was repeated the same statement (of Abu Jahl and ‘Abdullah b. Abi Umayya) till Abu Talib gave his final decision and be stuck to the religion of ‘Abdul-Muttalib and refused to profess that there is no god but Allah. Upon this the Messenger of Allah remarked: By Allah, I will persistently beg pardon for you till I am forbidden to do so (by God), It was then that Allah, the Magnificent and the Glorious, revealed this verse: ” It is not meet for the Prophet and for those who believe that they should beg pardon for the polytheists, even though they were their kith and kin, after it had been made known to them that they were the denizens of Hell” (ix. 113) And it was said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): ” Verily thou canst not guide to the right path whom thou lovest. And it is Allah Who guideth whom He will, and He knoweth best who are the guided” (xxviii, 56).

Sahih International: And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about the soul. Say, “The soul is of the affair of my Lord. And mankind have not been given of knowledge except a little.” – Surah Isra 17-85;

Sahih International: Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. Surah Az Zumar 39:42

Belief in al-Qadar (the divine will and decree ) is one of the pillars of faith. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, when he answered Jibril’s question about faith: “(It means) believing in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers and the Last Day, and to believe in al-Qadar (the divine decree) both good and bad.”
‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the first to be created by Allah was the pen. Allah told it to write, so it wrote all that will exist until forever.”

What is meant by al-Qadar is that Allah has decreed all things from eternity and knows that they will happen at times that are known to Him, and in specific ways, and that He has written that and willed it, and they happen according to what He has decreed. [al-Qada wa’l-Qadar by Dr ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Mahmoud, p. 39]
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah Almighty created His creation in darkness and He cast over them His light. Whoever is touched by that light is guided, and whoever misses it is led astray. Thus, I say the pens have been dried upon the knowledge of Allah.”

Whoever believes in these four believes in al-qadar.
The Quran affirms these things in numerous verses, such as the verses in which He says (interpretation of the meaning):
Muslim (2653) narrated that ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Allah wrote down the decrees of creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth.” He said: “And His Throne was upon the water.”

The Prophet was asked: “O Messenger of Allah, do the verses and supplications we recite and the medicine we take to cure ourselves waive the qadar of Allah?” He replied, “They are themselves from the Qadar of Allah.” (Mustadrak al-Hakim)
Hunger, thirst, feeling cold, are seeks to satisfy hunger through eating, thirst through drinking and coldness by keeping warm. A person seeks to fend themselves from what was decreed for them from hunger, thirst and coldness by what was decreed for them from eating, drinking, and seeking warmth. They seek to prevent one qadar with another.
One must fulfill whatever means are possible to achieve his goal, for the means are also a part of qada and qadr. One becomes pleased with the results (whatever they may be), which in turn produces peace of heart and spiritual comfort.
There is no room for stress, worry, or sadness. It is known that stress and unrest of heart leads to many sicknesses. Having belief in this concept prevents and cures many of these sicknesses. Allah says what means:
No evil befalls on the earth nor in your own souls, but it is in a book before We bring it into existence; surely that is easy for Allah: So that you may not grieve for what has escaped you, nor be exultant at what He has given you; and Allah does not love any arrogant boaster. (Al-Hadid 57:22-23)

The belief of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah is that a person has freedom of will (Choice) , and hence he will be rewarded or punished. But his will is subject to the Will of Allah, and nothing can take place in the universe that is not willed by Allah.
What some people say, that we have the choice to follow whatever path we want but at the end of this path you will find what Allah has decreed for you, is a correct view. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful” [al-Insan 76:3]
“And shown him the two ways (good and evil)?” [al-Balad 90:10]
“And say: “The truth is from your Lord.” Then whosoever wills, let him believe; and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve” [al-Kahf 18:29]

Surah Baqarah 284. – To Allah/ God belongs everything in the heavens and the earth. Whether you reveal what is within your selves, or conceal it, God will call you to account for it. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. God is Able to do all things.
285. The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, as did the believers. They all have believed in God, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers: “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord. To you is the destiny.”
286. Allah / God does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. To its credit is what it earns, and against it is what it commits. “Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not burden us as You have burdened those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear; and pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord and Master, so help us against the disbelieving people.”
You surely cannot guide whoever you like ˹O Prophet˺, but it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills, and He knows best who are ˹fit to be˺ guided. – Surah Al Qasas 56

Imam al-Bukhari mentions in the chapter on faith the statement of Ibn Abi Mulayka (Allah have mercy on him), ‘I met 30 of the companions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), all of them feared hypocrisy for themselves. None of them said that he had faith like that of Jibril or Mikail.’ (Angel Gabriel or Michael).
Imam Bukhari then adds, ‘It is being narrated from Hasan, ‘No one fears it (i.e., hypocrisy) except the true believer, and none feels safe from it except the hypocrite.” [Bukhari]

Story of Creation – based on Noble Qur’an and Hadith;
The first thing that Allah created of the things that are known to us was the Throne, and He rose over it (in a manner that befits His Majesty) after He had created the heavens, as Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And He it is Who has created the heavens and the earth in six Days and His Throne was on the water, that He might try you, which of you is the best in deeds” [Hood 11:7].

Fourthly:
Al-Bukhaari (7418) narrated from ‘Imraan ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people from Yemen asked the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about how the matter was from the very beginning. He said: “There was Allah and nothing existed before Him, and His Throne was on the water. Then He created the heavens and the earth, and He wrote in all things in al-Lawh al-Mahfooz.”
According to another report (3191) he said: “There was Allah and nothing existed except Him.”
The Throne of the Most Gracious, may He be glorified, is part of His creation. He created it before He created the heavens and the earth and all that is therein. The hadith quoted above indicates that in the beginning there was nothing except Allah, may He be exalted: no Throne and no other created thing. Then He, may He be glorified, created the Throne, then He created all other created things.
