What is a Manuscript?
Early manuscripts were written on either:

- A manuscript is a hand-written document. The word has its origin in Latin: manu (hand) and scriptum (written). There are approximately 5,800 Greek manuscripts of the New Testament. In addition, there are 10,000 Latin manuscripts, and 9,300 manuscripts in other languages. The New Testament autographa, the manuscripts written by the original authors, are unavailable, but manuscripts have been discovered that are dated as early as the 2nd century.
- Parchment: writing material made from animal skin (might be lamb, goat, deer, or cow), or
- Papyrus: a reed plant that grows along the banks of the Nile. There are 1,276 New Testament papyri, the earliest copies of portions of the New Testament.

SUN PROSTRATES UNDER ALLAH(SWA) ARSH/ THRONE – Hadith; Narrated Abu Dhar: The Prophet (ﷺ) asked me at sunset, “Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?” I replied, “Allah and His Apostle know better.” He said, “It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: “And the sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). that is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All- Knowing.” (36.38) – Sahih al-Bukhari 3199 Hadith on Signs:

Surah Kahf First 10 Ayyat

1. Praise be to God, who revealed the Book to His servant, and allowed in it no distortion. 2. Valuable—to warn of severe punishment from Himself; and to deliver good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have an excellent reward. 3. In which they will abide forever. 4. And to warn those who say, “God has begotten a son.” 5. They have no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths. They say nothing but a lie. 6. Perhaps you may destroy yourself with grief, chasing after them, if they do not believe in this information. 7. We made what is upon the earth an ornament for it, to test them as to which of them is best in conduct. 8. And We will turn what is on it into barren waste. 9. Did you know that the People of the Cave and the Inscription were of Our wondrous signs? 10. When the youths took shelter in the cave, they said, “Our Lord, give us mercy from Yourself, and bless our affair with guidance.”
Abu Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf will be immune to the False Messiah.” In another narration, the Prophet said, “From the last ten verses of Surat al-Kahf.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 809 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim

Kitab at Taheed – Islamic Monotheism – ch 37
Allah’s Words: ” Do You Not See Those Who Claim That They Believe in What Was Revealed to You and to Those Before You? They Wish to Resort to At-Taaghoot for Judgement…”
” Do you not see those who claim that they believe in what was revealed to you and to those before you? They wish to resort to At-Taaghoot for Judgement” (Qur’an 4:60)
In this verse, Allah , Most High, rebukes those hypocrites who pretend to believe in the Revelations sent down to the Messengers, but then make their hypocrisy clear by referring their disputes for judgement to other than Allah and His Messenger 
, contradicting their claims of faith, for they were ordered in the Last Revelation to reject the judgement of all, save Allah and His Messenger ; but Satan – may Allah curse him – makes their deviation from the Law of Allah in favour of the opinions of men who seem attractive to them, in order to lure them to that which is false and to lead them far astray from the Straight Path, and then he abandons them to their fate.
Can’t obey Rules in the Haram/ Forbidden things / Sins; “Let those who oppose his (the Messenger’s) commandment (orders, statements, etc.) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, affliction) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.” (24:63) Do you know what the Fitnah is? Al-Fitnah is Shirk. May be the rejection of some of his words would cause one to have doubt and deviation in his heart and thereby be destroyed.
It is narrated from Adi bin Hatim (May Allah be pleased with him) : I heard the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) read this verse: “They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah, and Messiah -son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One Ilah (God Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)”. (9:31) So I said to him (May Allah be pleased with him)’ “Verily, we did not worship them,” to which he replied, “Did they not make Haram (Forbidden) what Allah made Halal (Permissible) so you then made it Haram, and (did they not) make Halal what Allah made Haram and you therefore made it Halal?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “That is worshipping them.” [Reported by Ahmad and At- Tirmidhi who graded it as Hasan (fair).]

The Oneness of Allah; Allah the Almighty said: “And I (Allah) created not the Jinns and men except they should worship Me (Alone).” (51:56)
And He stated: “And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): ‘Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities etc. i.e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah).’ ” (16:36) And He said: “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: ‘My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small.’
” Allah (swt ), says: ” And those who live in awe for fear of their Rabb(Lord) ; And those who believe in the Signs of their Rabb, And those who join not anyone [in worship] as partners with their Rabb; And those who give that which they give [i.e. charity] with their hearts full of fear [whether their charity has been accepted or not], because they are sure to return to their Rabb” (Qur’an 23:57-60)
Mu’adh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was riding a pillion with the Prophet ﷺ on a donkey. He ﷺ said, “O Mu’adh, do you know what is the right of Allah upon His slaves, and what is the Right of His slaves upon Allah?” I said: “Allah and His Messenger know better”. Upon this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Allah’s Right upon His slaves is that they should worship Him Alone and associate nothing with Him; and His slaves’ right upon Him is that He should not punish who does not associate a thing with Him”. He (Mu’adh) added: I said to the Messenger of Allah: “Shall I give the glad tidings to people?” He ﷺ said, “Do not tell them this good news for they will depend on it alone”. Al-Bukhari and Muslim. وعن معاذ بن جبل ، رضي الله عنه ، قال: كنت ردف النبي ﷺ ، على حمار فقال: ” يا معاذ هل تدري ما حق الله على عباده، وما حق العباد على الله. ؟ قلت: الله ورسوله أعلم. قال:”فإن حق الله على العباد أن يعبدوه، ولا يشركوا به شيئاً، وحق العباد على الله أن لا يعذب من لا يشرك به شيئاً، فقلت، يا رسول الله أفلا أبشر الناس؟ قال لا تبشرهم فيتكلوا” ((متفق عليه)) #KitabTawheed #monotheism #islam #Bismillah School
Indigenous/ Native Survivors Matters
The City of Thunder Bay has proclaimed today as Indigenous Survivors Day and is hosting several community events ahead of Canada Day.
Sixties Scoop survivor Troy Abromaitis said he created Indigenous Survivors Day to honour children who were taken from their families and lands. He said Thunder Bay is the first city to make it a full-day event and he hopes other communities will follow.
The Sixties Scoop refers to the period between the 1950s and early 1990s during which thousands of Indigenous children in Canada were apprehended by child welfare agencies and placed with non-Indigenous foster or adoptive parents. Many children were subject to physical, emotional or sexual abuse while most lost connection to their cultures and languages.

The systematic removal of First Nations children from their families from 1991 on is referred to as the Millennium Scoop. The practice resulted in more Indigenous children ending up in foster care than were sent to residential schools at their peak.
Birth alerts — when child welfare organizations notify hospitals if they believe a pregnant patient may be “high risk” — led to newborns being taken from their parents for days, months or even years. The province ordered an end to birth alerts in 2022 after finding it disproportionately affected Indigenous and racialized families.
Indigenous children made up 53.8 per cent of all children in foster care across the country, according to Statistics Canada data from the 2021 census.
