End of surah Hashr; 59 22 – He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. 23- He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 24He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Surah Al Ala (teh Most High/ God) In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. 1. Praise the Name of your Lord, the Most High. 2. He who creates and regulates. 3. He who measures and guides. 4. He who produces the pasture. 5. And then turns it into light debris. 6. We will make you read, so do not forget. 7. Except what God wills. He knows what is declared, and what is hidden. 8. We will ease you into the Easy Way. 9. So remind, if reminding helps. 10. The reverent will remember. 11. But the wretched will avoid it. 12. He who will enter the Gigantic Fire. 13. Where he will neither die, nor live. 14. Successful is he who purifies himself. 15. And mentions the name of his Lord, and prays. 16. But you prefer the present life. 17. Though the Hereafter is better, and more lasting. 18. This is in the former scriptures. 19. The Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. #Quran Kareem; #Islam; surah Hashr/ Gathering (Judgement Day);
Sahih International: Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. But if good comes to them, they say, “This is from Allah “; and if evil befalls them, they say, “This is from you.” Say, “All [things] are from Allah.” So what is [the matter] with those people that they can hardly understand any statement?
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. Blessed is He in whose hand is the sovereignty, and Who has power over everything. 2. He who created death and life—to test you—as to which of you is better in conduct. He is the Almighty, the Forgiving. – surah Mulk/ The Domnion (of the Heavens and the Earth)
‘Allāh takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who give thought.’ [Al-Zumar, 39:42]
Narrated by Al-Suddī concerning the saying of the Most High:
وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَاۖ
‘And those that do not die, [He takes] during their sleep,’
He [al-Suddī] said: ‘Their souls are taken in their sleep such that the souls of the living meet the souls of those who have passed away. They reminisce and remind one another [of events that have transpired].’
He said; ‘The souls of the living then return to their bodies so that they may fulfil the remainder of their lives in this dunyā. While the souls of the dead desire to return to their [abandoned bodies] except that they are blocked from doing so.’
[Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said:] This is one of the two opinions concerning this verse. It is that the soul that is prevented [from returning to the body] belongs only to those whose souls have been taken from [their bodies] due to death. While the souls that are returned are those that leave their bodies while asleep [such that they awaken in this dunyà]. Therefore, according to this opinion, its meaning is thatthe souls of the dead are taken [by the angel of death] and held, unable to return to their physical bodies before the Day of Judgement. The souls of those in slumber are also taken but are returned to their bodies such that the rest of their lives are fulfilled [i.e., their preappointed number of years in this dunyà is completed, at which point] their souls are taken again [for the final time, and they die].
The second opinion regarding this verse is that both types of soul, the ones that are held [from returning to their bodies] and those that are returned, are taken similar to one who enters sleep [i.e. expecting to return]. However, those among them whose lives in this dunyā have been completed are then held, disallowed to return to their bodies [such that they die in their sleep]. While those whose lives have not been fulfilled [i.e., they still have time left in this dunyà], their souls are returned to their bodies such that they are able to complete their course. This [opinion] is the stance of Shaykh al-Islām (Ibn Taymiyyah) [may Allāh have mercy on him and purify his soul], He said: ‘The Qurʾān and the Sunnah testify to this.’ He [also] said: ‘Indeed, the Exalted mentions His taking of the souls of those that He has decreed death upon from among the souls that have been taken in sleep [i.e. in His saying:
فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَىٰ عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ ‘Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death’
referring to those that die in their sleep]. As for the ones whose souls have been taken due to their time of death [while wakeful], they have not been described here, rather they are a separate third party.’1
[Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said:] However, the correct opinion is the first one. This is because the Exalted relates two times that souls are taken: the major taking of the soul at death, and the minor taking of the soul during sleep.
Hence, He has divided the souls into two parties:
A party upon whom death has been decreed and thus [their souls] have been held with Him, taken from their bodies in finality.
Another party whose course of life remains, such that their souls are returned to their bodies to fulfil it.
1. Every Soul Shall Taste Death
“Every self will taste death. You will be paid your wages in full on the Day of Rising. Anyone who is distanced from the Fire and admitted to the Garden, has triumphed. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of delusion.” (Quran, 3:185)
Here, Allah reminds us that we all, collectively as a human race, have a shared destiny with death – none can escape it. What remains for us to do, then, is to ensure we are truly living lives worthy of worshipping and loving Allah. We musn’t fall into the trap of believing this temporal world is worth risking our relationship with Allah.
2. Allah Will Never Delay A Soul When Its Time Has Come
“And spend [in the way of Allah ] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, ‘My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous’. But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.” (Quran, 63:10-11)
The Quran reminds us time and time again to never take this life for granted – and to never overestimate how long we have on this earth. We must continously strive towards becoming better Muslims, lest we regret it when it is too late.
3. No Soul Perceives In What Land It Will Die
“Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.” (Quran, 31:34)
To truly understand tawheed, the Oneness of Allah, will be a lifelong journey – and this verse is a powerful reminder of how much at mercy we are with Allah. None of us can know when our time with death has come, and we must truly believe, accept, and embrace whatever Allah has Planned for us.
4. When Their Specifed Time Has Come, They Cannot Delay It For A Single Hour
“When their specified time arrives, they cannot delay it for a single hour nor can they bring it forward.” (Quran, 16:61)
Here again, we are reminded of our fate with death – none of us can change it. As much as we like to believe we are in control of our lives – even our health, we must submit to Allah’s Will at all times and accept death as a blessing and a preordained end to our life here on earth.
5. Oh Soul At Rest, Return To Your Lord
“O soul that are at rest! Return to your Lord, well-pleased (with him), well-pleasing (Him), So enter among My servants, And enter into My garden.” (Quran, 89:27-30)
Finally, despite our innate fears around death, we must be assured that to embrace death is perhaps the only true comfort we have in this world – we are finally returing to Allah and inshallah, will be blessed with His Glad-Tidings. All we can do is pray for the strength to welcome our death as the last of Allah’s blessings here on earth.

Death will come for us all, let’s attempt to be ready when it does.
#Death, #Islam #Quran #Verses #Hadeeth (sayings of Prophet Muhammad – sal Alllahu alayhi wa Sallam)
In Aramaic, the language spoken by Jesus, the word for God is Elah (or Alaha in Syriac, a later form of Aramaic). These words are related to the Hebrew word “Elohim” and the Arabic word “Allah,” all stemming from a root meaning “god” or “divine”. Here’s a more detailed explanation: Elah (ܐܠܗ): This is the Aramaic word for God, used in the Old Testament in books like Daniel and Ezra. Alaha (ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ): This is the Syriac form of the word, also meaning “God”. Elohim (אֱלֹהִים): This is the Hebrew word for God, often used in the plural form but also sometimes referring to a single deity.
Allah (الله): This is the Arabic word for God, and it is closely related to the Aramaic and Hebrew terms. While “Allah” is the common term for God in Islam, the word itself has roots in Aramaic and Hebrew, and is used by Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews as well. Therefore, while Jesus did not use the word “Allah,” the Aramaic word he used, Elah/Alaha, shares a common root with the Arabic word.
Just for mention – the word Bible – comes from the Greek Word Biblos – meaning Book – as the Testaments were written Stories of what some scholars think happened in the past – more like history books from different perspectives – that’s why they have some truth and lots of falsehood because they are Not the Original Revelation left from Moses (Torah), Psalms of David (Zabur) or Gospel (Preaching of Jesus) – only Quran Kareem is the only unchanged Word of God today;
The 25 prophets mentioned in Quran Kareem include: Adam, Idris (Enoch), Nuh (Noah), Hud (Heber), Saleh (Methusaleh), Lut (Lot), Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), Yusuf (Joseph), Shu’aib (Jethro), Ayyub (Job), Dhulkifl (Ezekiel), Musa (Moses), Harun (Aaron), Dawud (David), Sulayman (Solomon), Ilyas (Elias), Alyasa (Elisha), Yunus (Jonah), Zakariya (Zachariah), Yahya (John the Baptist), Isa (Jesus) and Muhammad. Peace be upon them all. In 25 Prophets of Islam you will learn: 1. That God is one.
#25 Prophets in Islam
Surah Baqarah 136 – Say, ˹O believers,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.”
“and We sent Our messengers in succession: whenever a messenger came to a community they invariably called him a liar, so We destroyed them one after the other and made them into cautionary tales. Away with the disbelievers!” (Qur’an 23:44)
“We have sent revelation to you [Prophet] as We did to Noah and the prophets after him, to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon- to David We gave the book [of Psalms]- to other messengers We have already mentioned to you, and also to some We have not. To Moses God spoke directly.” (Qur’an 4:163-164)
“We have sent you with the Truth as a bearer of good news and warning– every community has been sent a warner.” (Qur’an 35:24) (News of Paradise for the Believers and HellFire for the Disbelievers);
All prophets in Islam came with the message of Tawhid (Oneness of God – wroshipping God Alone). It was only a difference in the Shariah (commandments and laws) of each Divine religion that set it apart from the others. It should be noted that all prophets propagated the same message of Islam throughout all ages, Tawhid, which is the core of all Divine religions. Allah Almighty mentions in the Qur’an:
It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, how many Prophets were there? He said: “One hundred and twenty-four thousand.” I said: O Messenger of Allah, how many of them were Messengers? He said: “Three hundred and thirteen, a good number.” I said: O Messenger of Allah, who was the first of them? He said: “Adam.” … (Narrated by Ibn Hibbaan, 361) – not all of the Prophets were mentioned in Quran Kareem (Nobel Qur’an)- only the greatest among them -or the ones who faced most challenges or brought new Legislation;
Ar-Rasul and An-Nabi الرسول والنبي
Before diving into the depths of learning more about the prophets, it’s important that we define the terms رسول (Rasul) and نبي (Nabi). While the term prophet is commonly used in the English language, Arabic language differentiates between the two. A Nabi is generally known as someone who preaches the word of Allah Almighty but brings no new source of sharia’s for his people. He follows the commands of the previous book of guidance. A Rasul meanwhile is given a new source of guidance by Allah Almighty for his people. For example, Musa (Moses) be peace be upon him, was given the Torah as a source of guidance for the people of Israel and those prophets who followed him used Torah as a source of guidance without the addition of any new commandments.

SUN PROSTRATES UNDER ALLAH(SWA) ARSH/ THRONE – Hadith; Narrated Abu Dhar: The Prophet (ﷺ) asked me at sunset, “Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?” I replied, “Allah and His Apostle know better.” He said, “It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: “And the sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). that is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All- Knowing.” (36.38) – Sahih al-Bukhari 3199 Hadith on Signs:
FAITH OF NO BENEFIT AFTER SEEING 3 SIGNS: Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When three signs appear, no soul will benefit from its faith if it did not already believe or earn good by its faith: the rising of the sun from the west, the False Messiah, and the beast from the earth.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 158 SUN WILL BE LOWERED IN JUDGEMENT DAY- 1 MILE: Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The sun will be lowered on the Day of Resurrection to the distance of a mile and its heat will be increased by as much. It will boil skulls just like the boiling of pots. They will sweat by the measure of their sins. Among them are those to whom it will reach their ankles, among them are those to whom it will reach their shins, among them are those to whom it will reach their midsections, and among them are those who are subsumed in sweat.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 22186
1. Praise be to God, who revealed the Book to His servant, and allowed in it no distortion. 2. Valuable—to warn of severe punishment from Himself; and to deliver good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have an excellent reward. 3. In which they will abide forever. 4. And to warn those who say, “God has begotten a son.” 5. They have no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths. They say nothing but a lie. 6. Perhaps you may destroy yourself with grief, chasing after them, if they do not believe in this information. 7. We made what is upon the earth an ornament for it, to test them as to which of them is best in conduct. 8. And We will turn what is on it into barren waste. 9. Did you know that the People of the Cave and the Inscription were of Our wondrous signs? 10. When the youths took shelter in the cave, they said, “Our Lord, give us mercy from Yourself, and bless our affair with guidance.”
Abu Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahfwill be immune to the False Messiah.” In another narration, the Prophet said, “From the last ten verses of Surat al-Kahf.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 809 Grade: Sahih(authentic) according to Muslim
Allah’s Words: ” Do You Not See Those Who Claim That They Believe in What Was Revealed to You and to Those Before You? They Wish to Resort to At-Taaghoot for Judgement…”
” Do you not see those who claim that they believe in what was revealed to you and to those before you? They wish to resort to At-Taaghoot for Judgement” (Qur’an 4:60)
In this verse, Allah , Most High, rebukes those hypocrites who pretend to believe in the Revelations sent down to the Messengers, but then make their hypocrisy clear by referring their disputes for judgement to other than Allah and His Messenger , contradicting their claims of faith, for they were ordered in the Last Revelation to reject the judgement of all, save Allah and His Messenger ; but Satan – may Allah curse him – makes their deviation from the Law of Allah in favour of the opinions of men who seem attractive to them, in order to lure them to that which is false and to lead them far astray from the Straight Path, and then he abandons them to their fate.
Can’t obey Rules in the Haram/ Forbidden things / Sins; “Let those who oppose his (the Messenger’s) commandment (orders, statements, etc.) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, affliction) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.” (24:63) Do you know what the Fitnah is? Al-Fitnah is Shirk. May be the rejection of some of his words would cause one to have doubt and deviation in his heart and thereby be destroyed.
It is narrated from Adi bin Hatim (May Allah be pleased with him) : I heard the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) read this verse: “They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah, and Messiah -son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One Ilah (God Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)”. (9:31) So I said to him (May Allah be pleased with him)’ “Verily, we did not worship them,” to which he replied, “Did they not make Haram (Forbidden) what Allah made Halal (Permissible) so you then made it Haram, and (did they not) make Halal what Allah made Haram and you therefore made it Halal?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “That is worshipping them.” [Reported by Ahmad and At- Tirmidhi who graded it as Hasan (fair).]

The Oneness of Allah; Allah the Almighty said: “And I (Allah) created not the Jinns and men except they should worship Me (Alone).” (51:56)
And He stated: “And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): ‘Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities etc. i.e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah).’ ” (16:36) And He said: “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: ‘My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small.’
” Allah (swt ), says: ” And those who live in awe for fear of their Rabb(Lord) ; And those who believe in the Signs of their Rabb, And those who join not anyone [in worship] as partners with their Rabb; And those who give that which they give [i.e. charity] with their hearts full of fear [whether their charity has been accepted or not], because they are sure to return to their Rabb” (Qur’an 23:57-60)
Mu’adh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was riding a pillion with the Prophet ﷺ on a donkey. He ﷺ said, “O Mu’adh, do you know what is the right of Allah upon His slaves, and what is the Right of His slaves upon Allah?” I said: “Allah and His Messenger know better”. Upon this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Allah’s Right upon His slaves is that they should worship Him Alone and associate nothing with Him; and His slaves’ right upon Him is that He should not punish who does not associate a thing with Him”. He (Mu’adh) added: I said to the Messenger of Allah: “Shall I give the glad tidings to people?” He ﷺ said, “Do not tell them this good news for they will depend on it alone”. Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
Mostly a Diseased Heart (Non compassionate, “dead” heart not remebering their Lord, not caring for others, and bad unhealthy lifestyle;
Miqdam bin Madikarib said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach. It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his spine straight. But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third for drink and one third for air.’”
A healthy heart can bring incredible benefits. These include enhancing longevity, preserving lifestyles, decreasing depression, and diminishing the risk of dementia in later years.
The CDC states that in the United States, one in five deaths are linked to heart disease. Coronary heart disease is the most common cause. Currently 805,000 heart attacks strike Americans annually, and among those, one in five are silent.
High blood pressure can be caused or worsened by an unhealthy lifestyle. Poor exercise habits with a lack of physical activity, as well as diets high in salt, fat, and cholesterol are important factors in the development of high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a sign that the blood is exerting too much pressure on arterial walls, leading to strain and damage. This damage can present as inflammation, plaque accumulation, and hardening of the arteries. As a result, the heart must work harder to compensate and provide circulation to the body.
Hypertension is a leading cause of heart disease and stroke and often seen more prominently in families with a history of cardiovascular disease.
Cholesterol is a waxy compound used to build healthy cells. It is a necessary component of our cells. However, high levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol elevate cardiovascular risk. Excessive LDL levels in the bloodstream can cause fatty deposits to form in arteries that can impede the flow of blood. If these deposits break, it may cause a heart attack or stroke.
Diabetes is when the pancreas is not producing enough insulin to regulate blood sugar levels, leading to sugar build up in the bloodstream. Unregulated blood sugar levels can damage blood vessels and increase the risk of strokes and heart attacks.
Compared to people who do not have diabetes, adults with diabetes are twice as likely to have heart disease or a stroke. According to the Mayo Clinic, more than two in three people with diabetes have high blood pressure.
Smoking is another major cause of heart disease and causes one out of every four deaths from heart disease, according to the 2014 Surgeon General’s Report on smoking and health. Smoking raises triglycerides and lowers high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, also known as good cholesterol. Smoking can cause the blood to become sticky and damage cells that line the blood vessels. This injury to the blood vessels increases the buildup of plaque and blood clots in blood vessels.
Inactivity and diets high in saturated fats, trans fats, salt, and cholesterol can cause fatty deposits to build up in the arteries, leading to high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity.
Not only does physical inactivity and an unhealthy diet cause heart disease, but both can also contribute to one’s likelihood of developing other heart disease risk factors.

“O you who believe! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it had been prescribed for those (communities) who came before you. So that you may exercise taqwa.” (2:183)
“Taqwa” can be translated as piety, as guarding oneself (against displeasing God) or God-consciousness. It is a spiritual power by which a person refrains from doing things that will displease Allah – and this thought or feeling is based on the love that a person has for Allah.
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said to me, “The most beloved fasting to Allah was the fasting of (the Prophet) David who used to fast on alternate days. And the most beloved prayer to Allah was the prayer of David who used to sleep for (the first) half of the night and pray for 1/3 of it and (again) sleep for a sixth of it.” – Sahid Al Bukhari3420, Book 60- haidth 92;
Extravagance is blameworthy in eating and other things. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allâh) likes not Al-Musrifûn (those who waste by extravagance).” [Al-A`raf 7:31]
“And waste not by extravagance. Verily, He likes not Al-Musrifûn (those who waste by extravagance).” [Al-An`am 6:141]
“And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty.” [Al-Isra’ 17:29]
“And give to the kinsman his due and to the Miskîn (poor) and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift. Verily, spendthrifts are brothers of the devils, and the satan is ever ungrateful to his Lord.” [Al-Isra’ 17:26-27]
The difference between extravagance and wasteful spending is that extravagance means spending on something appropriate in an excessive manner, whereas wasteful spending means spending on something that is not appropriate. This was stated by Al-Munawi in Fayd Al-Qadir, 1/50
Surah Baqarah 20 Ayaah Translation – Believers, Disbelievers, Hypocrites, Hard Heart (Covering of the Sins)
1. Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’an and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
2. This is the Book (the Qur’an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].
3. Who believe in the Ghaib (UnSeen) and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat),and spend out of what we have provided for them [i.e. give Zakat, spend on themselves, their parents, their children, their wives, etc., and also give charity to the poor and also in Allah’s Cause).
4. And who believe in (the Qur’an and the Sunnah)which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.)
5. They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful.
6. Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe.
7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah’s Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment.
8. And of mankind, there are some (hypocrites) who say: “We believe in Allah and the Last Day” while in fact they believe not.
9. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not!
10. In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.
11. And when it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” they say: “We are only peacemakers.”
12. Verily! They are the ones who make mischief, but they perceive not.
13. And when it is said to them (hypocrites): “Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad Peace be upon him , Al-Ansar and Al-Muhajirun) have believed,” they say: “Shall we believe as the fools have believed?” Verily, they are the fools, but they know not.
14. And when they meet those who believe, they say: “We believe,” but when they are alone with their Shayatin (devils – polytheists, hypocrites, etc.), they say: “Truly, we are with you; verily, we were but mocking.”
15. Allah mocks at them and gives them increase in their wrong-doings to wander blindly.
16. These are they who have purchased error for guidance, so their commerce was profitless. And they were not guided.
17. Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindled a fire; then, when it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness. (So) they could not see.
18. They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they return not (to the Right Path).
19. Or like a rainstorm from the sky, wherein is darkness, thunder, and lightning. They thrust their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunderclap for fear of death. But Allah ever encompasses the disbelievers (i.e. Allah will gather them all together).
20. The lightning almost snatches away their sight, whenever it flashes for them, they walk therein, and when darkness covers them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Certainly, Allah has power over all things.
21. O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allah), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the Pious – see V.2:2).

Say, ˹O believers,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.” – Surah Baqarah 2:136
Encyclopedia Britannia:
Etymologically, the name Allah is probably a contraction of the Arabic al-Ilāh, “the God.” The name’s origin can be traced to the earliest Semitic writings in which the word for god was il, el, or eloah, the latter two used in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Allah is the standard Arabic word for God and is used by Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews as well as by Muslims. The association of the word specifically with Islam comes from the special status of Arabic as the language of Islam’s holy scripture, the Qurʾān: since the Qurʾān in its original language is considered to be the literal word of God, it is believed that God described himself in the Arabic language as Allāh (which is written as الله). The Arabic word thus holds special significance for Muslims, regardless of their native tongue, because the Arabic word was spoken by God himself.
Allah is the pivot of the Muslim faith. The Qurʾān stresses above all Allah’s singularity and sole sovereignty, a doctrinal tenet indicated by the Arabic term tawḥīd (“oneness”). He never sleeps or tires, and, while transcendent, he perceives and reacts to everything in every place through the omnipresence of his divine knowledge. He creates ex nihilo and is in no need of a consort, nor does he have offspring. Three themes preponderate in the Qurʾān: (1) Allah is the Creator, Judge, and Rewarder; (2) he is unique (wāḥid) and inherently one (aḥad); and (3) he is omnipotent and all-merciful. Allah is the “Lord of the Worlds,” the Most High; “nothing is like unto him,” and this in itself is to the believer a request to adore Allah as the Protector and to glorify his powers of compassion and forgiveness.
